Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at LC Industries. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance in all customer-related matters, including sales orders, customer inquiries, and complaints.
- Backup and assist Customer Service Representatives as needed to ensure seamless customer support.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Navigate Axapta to create and release sales orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Communicate with customers and vendors throughout the sales order process, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Quote on contracts and follow up on quotes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Call customers for additional information as needed to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Ensure sales orders are routinely reconciled with material on hand or on order to maximize sales and reduce customer wait time.
- Coordinate pick up/delivery of orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Maintain a list of all customers, including email and phone numbers, to facilitate communication and follow-up.
- Use this list to obtain more business from existing customers.
- Assist customer service representatives at the checkout counters as needed to reduce customer wait times.
- Follow up with customers by conducting surveys to gather feedback and improve customer satisfaction.
- Register and track customer complaints, ensuring expeditious follow-up and resolution.
- Create reports to track the progress of sales orders and their impact on the budgeted sales for the BSC.
- Work closely with management to ensure material needed to fill sales orders is on order and has good supply/shipping status.
- Create, modify, and email various Excel spreadsheets as required by management, purchasing, and replenishment.
- Ensure customers are aware of our BUYBSC website and assist with customer setup for the site.
- Ensure customers are aware and understand the DOD Email program and know how to navigate the website in select stores.
- Ensure all daily price changes are published and displayed as instructed.
- Be instrumental in utilizing current marketing tools to seek additional sales.
- Merchandise and replenish shelves as necessary.
- Interact with vendor reps during their normal sales calls, asking questions to gain a better understanding of their products.
We are seeking a high school graduate with one year of relevant work experience. Basic retail knowledge and accuracy with computerized checkout systems are required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with and communicating with customers, vendors, company divisions, co-workers, and management.
