Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Liberty Global Logistics LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing terminal operations and documentation processes for all international and domestic cargo shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hazmat Documentation
    • Track and trace all documentation for hazmat cargo, including receipt, filing, and verification against bookings.
    • Monitor hazmat changes and ensure documentation accuracy.
    • Liaise with the Operations department to ensure all hazmat cargo is vessel compliant.
  • Booking Process for Commercial Cargoes
    • Create bookings for commercial customers and maintain bookings database.
    • Ensure bookings are properly conveyed to internal and external parties via cargo trackers.
  • Cargo Tracking and Tracing
    • Review bookings and on-ground inventories to ensure cargo is being delivered against bookings.
    • Interface with customers on estimated arrivals to the ports for all units.
  • Cargo Inventory Management
    • Responsible for receiving inventory and loaded reports to terminals and disseminating to internal departments.
    • Ensure all discrepancies are resolved and 100% cargo inventory is maintained.
  • Documentation & EDI
    • Ensure all relevant EDI for all Military Liner moves happen timely and accurately per the Universal Service Contract (USC).
    • Complete any port-specific documentation sheets required.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Maritime experience preferred but not required.
  • Hazmat experience preferred but not required.
