Insurance Sales Representative

Engages in the sale of insurance products via telemarketing. Responsibilities include:
- Making and receiving telephone calls to/from prospective customers.
- Assisting clients in making informed decisions regarding insurance plans and products.
- Following up on leads provided.
- Creating correspondence for potential customers.
- Processing applications and preparing marketing materials.
Required Experience: - A minimum of 6 months of sales experience. Essential Skills: Proficiency in word processing software. Strong judgment and effective presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Effective organizational skills. Required Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with spreadsheet and database software. Strong customer service skills, along with analytical and critical thinking capabilities. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others effectively. Preferred Software Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar tools. Work Environment: Standard office setting, with potential for remote work options. Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Licensure from the Department of Insurance must be obtained shortly after hiring. Certification from American Health Insurance Professionals for Medicare is also required shortly after hiring.
