About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Fanatics as a Director - HR Business Partner, providing strategic people business partner support to Fan Ecosystem, an emerging business under Fanatics Holdings, Inc.

The successful candidate will report to the VP, Lead HRBP for Fanatics Holdings, Inc. and serve as an advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders and teams, helping build and implement a people strategy that advances business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead organization design activities and talent management strategies to implement new structures, roles, and processes that create effective and efficient organizations aligned to shifting business demands.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to support hiring the best talent.
  • Support the stand-up of new businesses for Fanatics, including Fanatics Events, Fanatics Loyalty Co., and Fan Data Services.
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative approaches to retain, engage, and motivate employees.
  • Coach managers to build leadership capabilities and create a culture of followership within their teams and with key internal stakeholders.
  • Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs to help identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and engagement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience working as an HR/people business partner with knowledge across all disciplines, including organizational design, change management, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, talent planning, employee relations, etc.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to drive high-impact partnerships, while working cross-functionally with the leadership team.
  • Proven ability to consult with, influence, and guide business leaders and teams through executive coaching that enables business growth, transition, and continued evolution while challenging the status quo.
  • Experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing teams, acting as a role model, inspiring confidence, trust, optimism, respect, fairness, and collaboration.
  • Broad business and financial understanding.
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize large business data sets to develop innovative and holistic HR solutions that are forward-thinking and growth-oriented.
  • Intellectual curiosity, with the ability to make quick and nimble decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into crisp, easily comprehensible, and compelling messaging, and capacity for storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous priorities.
  • Experience working within an operating company or corporate entity with separate operating companies or a multi-subsidiary environment strongly preferred.
  • Humble, kind, and a strong collaborator, with a true believer in Fanatics' mission and someone who embodies the values and embraces the goal of the company.
What We Offer

The salary range for this position is $168,000 to $220,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors, including location, experience, qualifications, and training.
