Development Leadership Director for Campaign Growth

We're looking for an experienced Development Leadership Director to spearhead our campaign growth and drive revenue in support of our mission. This role will generate significant funds for our Heart Challenge Campaign, which includes our iconic Heart Walk event.
This is a fast-paced sales environment with a strong focus on revenue generation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of prospecting and securing new business, with a reputation for delivering donor-centric results.
The American Heart Association offers a competitive base salary, with potential for up to 25% incentive based on achieving certain revenue targets. You'll also enjoy access to our award-winning corporate university, Heart U, as well as additional training and support to help you succeed.

About the Role:
• Demonstrate effective management techniques in staffing and leadership development to achieve organizational objectives.
• Implement best practices for the Heart Challenge campaign, driving revenue growth and alignment with funding goals.
• Build and engage influential volunteer leadership bases to support sustained campaign growth.
• Develop and implement year-round cultivation plans to ensure superior donor relations.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience.
• Strong initiative to effectively prospect and secure new business.
• Basic knowledge and skill/proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel daily, with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and/or move large objects, with accommodation provided if necessary.
