**Logistics Driver**, **Supply Chain Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Driver to join our team at National DCP, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering freight from third-party supplier locations to our warehouses safely, legally, and on-time.
Key Responsibilities- Safely Operate a Tractor Trailer Truck: You will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.
- Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections: You will conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
- Ensure Delivery-Related Paperwork: You will ensure delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or transportation hub.
- Load and Unload Trailers: You will assist with the loading of trailer at supplier locations and detach loaded trailers and pick up empty trailers in a safe manner into store locations.
- Maintain Logs and Records: You will maintain proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate with Team Members: You will maintain contact with Member Services/applicable operations transportation personnel to communicate any delivery problems or delays.
- Ensure Cleanliness and Presentation: You will ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab.
- Report Vehicle Maintenance Issues: You will timely report any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the appropriate Transportation Supervisor.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Current Class A CDL and Medical Card: You must have a current Class A CDL and medical card.
- Minimum of Six Months Class A CDL Driving Experience: You must have a minimum of six months Class A CDL driving experience. Experience driving in the food industry is highly preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): You must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with NDCP's hiring requirements.
- Ability to Operate Manual and Automatic Transmission Tractor: You must be able to safely operate a manual and automatic transmission tractor.
- Ability to Read a Map and/or Follow Written Directions: You must be able to read a map and/or follow written directions to navigate assigned routes efficiently and safely.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of DOT Regulations: You must have demonstrated knowledge of DOT regulations and Commercial Motor Vehicle requirements.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Exceptional Customer Service Mentality: You must have excellent interpersonal skills and an exceptional customer service mentality.
- Ability to Work Effectively in an Individual and Team Environment: You must be able to work effectively in an individual and team environment.
- Effective Decision-Making Skills and Sound Judgment: You must have effective decision-making skills and sound judgment.
- Ability and Willingness to Work Varying Work Schedules: You must be able to work varying work schedules, as needed, to support NDCP's operations.
