Job Title:

Direct Support Professional II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily routines, including dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs.
  • Redirect behaviors with various activities, such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
  • Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
  • Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • CPI certification.
  • DSP 1 & 2 certification.
  • Must have a valid in-state driver's license, be over 21, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.
