Job Title:

Certified Direct Support Professional II Caregiver (DSP2)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a DSP2, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with clean-up
  • Redirect behaviors with various activities, such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • CPI certification
  • MUST have DSP 1 & DSP 2 certificates
  • 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses
  • Valid in-state driver's license, with a clean driving record
