Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team at WellPower - Adult Services. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our consumers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned consumers.
  • Provide limited case management services to consumers as needed.
  • Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate consumer's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
  • Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).
  • Draw blood for lab work for consumers.
  • Monitor consumer's vital signs.
  • Administer medications including intramuscular medications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
  • Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
