Job Title: Nurse - Crisis Services

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at WellPower - Adult Services. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in crisis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and limited case management services to assigned consumers. You will also assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation, coordinate consumer's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources, and coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned consumers.
  • Provide limited case management services to consumers as needed.
  • Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate consumer's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
  • Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).
  • Draw blood for lab work for consumers.
  • Monitor consumer's vital signs.
  • Administer medications including intramuscular medications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness. A graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure as a Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado are also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $29.35-$41.33 per hour, depending on experience and licensure.
