About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Crisis Services team at the Mental Health Center of Denver. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to individuals in crisis, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned consumers.
  • Provide limited case management services to consumers as needed.
  • Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate consumer's use of other Mental Health Center of Denver programs and outside community resources.
  • Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).
  • Draw blood for lab work for consumers.
  • Monitor consumer's vital signs.
  • Administer medications including intramuscular medications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Mental Health Center of Denver standards.
  • Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
