Automotive Customer Service Consultant

As an Automotive Customer Service Consultant at Dick Hannah Subaru, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the service department's operations by effectively recommending and promoting necessary services to our valued customers. Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Earnings: Enjoy a commission structure that rewards your efforts with 7% of total individual gross parts and labor profit after discount, plus the potential for up to $1,500 in monthly focus commission.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize your work-life balance by offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees will accrue 4 hours per pay period, amounting to approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Dick Hannah Subaru provides a wide range of health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and both short- and long-term disability coverage, alongside a robust 401(k) plan for your retirement needs.
Paid Holidays: We offer 5 paid holidays each year to our Automotive Customer Service Consultants, contingent upon the completion of the introductory period and adherence to company policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers promptly and courteously while gathering vehicle information.
- Review service history, assess vehicle condition, and suggest additional necessary services.
- Provide a detailed and accurate written estimate for labor and parts.
Monitor repair progress throughout the day, communicating any changes in estimates or timelines to customers, and securing proper authorization for additional repairs. - Ensure all repair orders are reviewed for completion, noting any additional work and authorization as needed. Close repair orders appropriately.
- Clarify completed work and all associated charges to customers.
- Uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Physical ability to utilize computer hardware and software.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Must maintain a clean driving record and be insurable under company insurance policies.
