Job Responsibilities:
  • The IT Project Coordinator will work under limited supervision to achieve project goals across various small to mid-sized initiatives.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring that the final deliverables meet customer expectations.
  • The Project Coordinator will ensure that each initiative has well-defined requirements and follows established Project Management methodologies to deliver results.
  • Additionally, the Project Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all project-related activities from initiation to completion, including managing all relevant documentation, engaging with stakeholders, and handling vendor contracts and procurement.
  • Timely and accurate reporting for senior management is essential, along with proactive identification and monitoring of project risks and issues.
  • The IT Project Coordinator will focus on building strong partnerships with their PMO team, internal resources, and external clients.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Solid understanding of practical project management principles.
  • Experience with IT-related projects, including custom software development and COTS implementation.
  • Ability to balance project management processes with rapid delivery of customer benefits.
  • Experience in maintaining all project documentation, including schedules and budgets.
  • Strong customer-centric approach and a servant leadership mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in creating project-related documents, such as RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, business cases, research findings, detailed statements of work, and status reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven capability to collaborate within teams and across organizations.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various assignments and work with diverse customer backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent experience in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
