Job Overview

Position: Nondestructive Testing Project Manager

Company: Western Technologies Inc. is seeking a qualified NDT Project Manager to spearhead our established operations in providing comprehensive nondestructive testing services across various sectors. The successful candidate will possess proven leadership skills along with a Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). Preference will be given to those with a current ASNT Level III certification in one or more disciplines and/or experience with Phased Array techniques, as well as AWS / CWI inspection credentials. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction or industrial environments is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the NDT Director for the region.
  • Oversee the sales, management, and execution of NDT services across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the NDT Technical Director to implement a robust growth strategy and ensure quality assurance/quality control measures are met.
  • Facilitate NDT training and career advancement initiatives throughout the company.
  • Support project managers in addressing technical challenges.
  • Draft and interpret inspection protocols and administrative guidelines.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on health and safety practices.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
