Premier Infusion and Healthcare Services, Inc. is a leading provider of home healthcare services in Southern California.

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coordinator to join our team at Premier Infusion and Healthcare Services, Inc. As a Medical Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating infusion services for patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC).

Job Description:
  • Coordinate infusion and nursing services for the AIC, including handling incoming referral calls and completing referral forms.
  • Transcribe detailed and accurate information into our computer system, including demographics, insurance information, physician information, and patient information.
  • Attach appropriate payers to the patient record.
  • Handle electronic faxes as needed.
  • Prepare patient admit packets for new patients and forward them to the Nurse Practitioner.
  • Provide infusion orders to the Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse.

In this role, you will work closely with our Nurse Practitioner to resolve patient care issues and scheduling conflicts, while also maintaining the quality assurance monitoring for infusion services.

Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in an infusion center setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus.
  • Friendly, professional, cooperative, and excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

You must have a High School diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in a specialty pharmacy or consumer-related business is a plus.
