Job Summary

Thompson Engineering is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Human Resources and Leadership Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that support the company's strategic goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a management-level position. You will be responsible for leading the HR team and providing guidance and support to employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and objectives
  • Lead the HR team and provide guidance and support to employees
  • Recruit, hire, and train employees to meet the needs of the organization
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee complaints
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
  • Stay up-to-date on changing laws and regulations affecting human resources

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years in a management-level position
  • Relevant degree in human resources or a related field
  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
