Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Role Overview

Sebring Opco LLC is actively looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the planning and execution of Physical Therapy Services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional care to residents consistently.

Position Requirements:
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work autonomously
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in electronic documentation
  • Awareness of age-specific care requirements
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Capacity to make sound independent judgments
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with physical therapy protocols and standards
  • Maintenance of therapy tools and environments
  • Capability to manage difficult situations with residents
  • Current State PTA license is mandatory
Work Environment:
  • Work locations include administrative areas, resident accommodations, and therapy zones
  • Flexible working hours, including potential weekends and holidays
  • Continuous vigilance for resident safety
  • Engagement in ongoing educational opportunities
  • Physical demands may involve lifting and assisting residents
Performance Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and execution of physical therapy initiatives
  • Support resident treatments under the supervision of a licensed clinician
  • Contribute to discharge planning and care strategy formulation
  • Maintain precise treatment documentation and progress records
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Educational Background & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • On-the-job training will be provided by a licensed Physical Therapist
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to navigate throughout the workday
  • Effective communication and stress management skills
  • Visual and auditory capabilities necessary for job functions
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of individuals
  • Compliance with general health standards
