Overview:Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in North Highlands, CA. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student advancements.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Hold an Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- Possess a valid California SLPA license.
- Experience in a school environment is preferred.
- Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
