TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager/Employee Relations to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the Employee Relations function for a global automotive manufacturer with a location in Savannah, GA.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to manage the Employee Relations function, ensuring alignment with the company's values, mission, and culture.
- Partner with HR and legal departments to develop solutions that meet the company's and division's needs.
- Oversee the centralized Employee Relations Department, leading Employee Relations operations, including staff supervision, budget management, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure effective recording of ER data to identify emerging internal trends and insights regarding employee issues.
- Implement an Employee Relations strategy that engages and inspires the workforce to deliver their best performance.
- Direct and advise company leadership on the interpretation and administration of corporate policies, investigations, and discipline.
- Develop positive business relationships with employees and key executive stakeholders to address employee relations issues comprehensively and collaboratively.
- Communicate strategically with HR and other relevant stakeholders to exchange information, collaborate on work, and direct inquiries as necessary.
- Minimum +10 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or Human Resources.
- Expert-level experience in Employee Relations, with demonstrated outcomes that have led to actionable and supportive plans.
- Advanced knowledge of employment and labor laws (Federal and State).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
- SHRM Certified.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Seven (7)+ years of professional experience related to collective bargaining negotiations, labor relations administration, and/or employment-related grievances, complaints, and/or arbitrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- Juris Doctorate.
- Information gathering and processing capabilities.
- Presentation skills.
- Media utilization capabilities.
Domestic and international travel required.
