Job Title: Event Hall Coordinator

Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Hall Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Hall Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing event-related customers from booking to payment, preparing rental contracts, and coordinating with maintenance and customers on start and end times of events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize event calendars using reservation software
  • Manage event-related customers from booking to payment
  • Prepare rental contracts and negotiate rates and terms
  • Determine if rents get their deposit back and/or are assessed additional fees based on rental agreement
  • Coordinate with maintenance and customers on start and end times of events
  • Support marketing efforts, including updating web content and social media pages
  • Manage difficult customer situations
  • Work closely with supervisor to ensure all printed and online materials are updated
  • Track and inventory equipment and submit replacement needs to supervisor
  • Set annual rates for rental facilities
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of customer service experience interacting with the public
  • One year of experience in clerical accounting or bookkeeping and cash handling
