Position Title: Field Service OEM Representative

Department: Field Service

Classification: Exempt

Role Summary: The Field Service OEM Representative is responsible for delivering essential support to clients by maintaining and servicing our products.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will:

  • Deliver service and customer assistance on-site.
  • Oversee and implement all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities.
  • Identify technical and customer-related issues while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs and provide suitable recommendations and briefings.
  • Document field modifications and processes accurately to support future product updates, ongoing service, and potential warranty claims.
  • Determine service requirements; procure and assemble components and parts to fulfill service requests.
  • Generate timely and comprehensive service reports and updates.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all products produced by USSC and its suppliers/OEMs.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Effectively plan and organize your work schedule.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

You would be an excellent candidate if you possess the following:

  • A high school diploma.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a technician or equivalent mechanical expertise.
  • Preferred experience in automotive or transit sectors.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing hand tools or other necessary equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain technical equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility regarding work hours and travel.
  • A valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel internationally.
  • Familiarity with computerized business systems, including Excel, Word, email, and general computer skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including tact and diplomacy for customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and diverse projects, demonstrating analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem-solving, decision-making, and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to policies promoting a secure work environment.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing pressure and adapting to changes quickly.
  • Understanding of the importance of attendance and punctuality in supporting company operations.
  • A willingness to work extended hours and some weekends to contribute to company growth.
