Job Title: Field Service OEM Representative

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service OEM Representative to provide ongoing support to our customers by servicing our safety and survivability solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through technical expertise and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer expert technical support to customers on-site, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Field Installations: Execute all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose technical and customer issues, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Document Field Changes: Accurately document field changes and processes to support future product modifications, ongoing service support, and potential warranty claims.
  • Establish Service Requirements: Determine service requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts to complete service requests.
  • Produce Service Reports: Generate timely and detailed service reports and Sales Force ticket updates, ensuring accurate documentation of all service activities.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products manufactured by United Safety and United Safety suppliers/OEM.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through exceptional service and technical expertise.
  • Schedule Work: Effectively schedule work week, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Observe Company Rules: Adhere to all company rules and safety practices, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years' work as a technician or equivalent mechanical ability.
  • Automotive or Transit Experience: Preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient at reading blueprints and using hand tools or other tools required for the job.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Travel: Flexible regarding working hours and travel, with a valid driver's license and passport.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of computerized business systems, Excel, Word, email, and general computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, including tact and diplomacy, for customer service, conflict management, and relationship development.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects, including analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem-solving, decision-making, and carrying out assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Language Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, directions, and other communication in English.
  • Safety Focus: Safety is at the forefront of your mind when working, and you follow all policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team environment, under pressure, with time constraints, while responding and adapting to change favorably and quickly.
