As a Senior Buyer Development Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering partner relationships, managing operational tasks, and conducting data analyses with Brands, Buyers, Agencies, and Consultancies that utilize OpenX's advertising technology and services for executing their brand campaigns through various transaction methods including open exchange, preferred deals, private auctions, and real-time guaranteed (RTG) transactions. This role involves engaging with all facets of the pre-sale and post-sale processes of premium programmatic transactions, which encompasses building premium inventory and data segments, establishing private marketplace (PMP) deals, managing transactions and reporting, troubleshooting issues, identifying yield and performance opportunities, and conducting post-campaign performance evaluations.

We are looking for high achievers who can cultivate essential relationships with OpenX partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Buyer Development Account Managers must adeptly execute business and operational initiatives to meet and exceed the performance goals of brand and agency partnerships. The Senior Buyer Development Account Manager will possess extensive knowledge of OpenX Products & Platform and should be equipped to guide partners on the optimal transactional configurations for achieving superior performance. Within the OpenX Buyer Development team, we aim to surpass partner expectations by establishing, supporting, and nurturing long-term mutually beneficial relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Buyer Development Sales Team to design, create, and implement high-performing premium deals within the OpenX Platform utilizing premium inventory segments for OpenX's Brands, Buyers, and Agencies.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of active private marketplace deals to identify potential opportunities for enhancing advertiser performance against their KPIs.
  • Resolve issues with newly launched private marketplace deals that are not functioning correctly.
  • Support the Sales team during client meetings, serving as the operational and technical authority.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries, fulfilling performance requests, and clarifying product-related questions.
  • Contribute to achieving the Buyer Development team’s revenue targets through deal transactions, yield management, and relationship cultivation.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all client requests.
  • Work alongside the Buyer Development Sales Team and Buyer Development Account Director to enhance a transparent, actionable, data-driven Account Management process.
Requirements and Skills
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in digital advertising operations, publisher monetization, yield management, and digital advertising technology sales or services.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities and operational experience in leading cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
  • Comprehensive operational knowledge of the online advertising industry, advertiser campaign goals, and RTB/programmatic ecosystems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, thriving on innovation and driving initiatives forward – Effective problem solver.
  • Results-oriented and capable of identifying and acting on new business opportunities or process efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – Ability to convey complex technology in a straightforward manner.
  • Ability to engage effectively with all levels within partner organizations as well as within OpenX.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with good business acumen.
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, economics, data science, or a related field.
