Position Overview

We are in search of a meticulous professional to become part of our team as a Planning and Procurement Specialist. In this capacity, you will oversee inventory management, production timelines, and supplier interactions to guarantee smooth and effective operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory management and production timelines
  • Generate purchase orders and work orders
  • Evaluate supplier performance and expedite deliveries when necessary
  • Maintain precise procurement records and liaise with vendors
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement Managers to address scheduling issues
  • Recommend modifications to planning parameters to enhance operations
  • Ensure production and sales timelines are met

Qualifications

  • Experience with integrated MRP systems
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
  • Understanding of procurement best practices
  • Capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software
  • APICS certification is a plus
