About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at O'Reilly Hospitality Management. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and train housekeeping staff, including hiring, recruiting, motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Assist the General Manager in developing the department's annual budget and monitor performance against plan.
  • Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, inventories, and supplies.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  • Ensure guest needs are met or exceeded, providing world-class guest service.
  • Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
  • Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.
  • Comply and report accurate status of guest rooms to the front office.
  • Enforce standard procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items.
  • Support team member recognition and engagement programs.
  • Report to work for scheduled shifts, on time, and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
  • Embrace company culture, including O'Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work well with and motivate various personality types, maintaining tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years' experience as an assistant executive housekeeper and two years of housekeeping experience in a commercial environment in a supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum of one year in a Housekeeping role; hotel experience preferred.
  • Minimum of High School education or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or a 10 to 20 of force constantly to move objects.
  • Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
