Key Responsibilities- Lead and train housekeeping staff, including hiring, recruiting, motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
- Assist the General Manager in developing the department's annual budget and monitor performance against plan.
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, inventories, and supplies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
- Ensure guest needs are met or exceeded, providing world-class guest service.
- Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
- Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.
- Comply and report accurate status of guest rooms to the front office.
- Enforce standard procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost and found items.
- Support team member recognition and engagement programs.
- Report to work for scheduled shifts, on time, and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

- Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Two years' experience as an assistant executive housekeeper and two years of housekeeping experience in a commercial environment in a supervisory capacity.
- Minimum of one year in a Housekeeping role; hotel experience preferred.
- Minimum of High School education or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or a 10 to 20 of force constantly to move objects.
- Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
