  • Work Schedule: Varies, 8-25 hours per week, including potential Saturday shifts

Key Responsibilities
The Community Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting supervised residence checks, referred to as randoms.
  • Providing transportation for clients to approved activities.
  • Observing and reporting on client demeanor, appearance, and conduct.
  • Completing necessary documentation and checklists during each monitored visit.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of clients within their living environments.
  • Upholding program rules and regulations.
  • Documenting any client infractions and communicating them to supervisors and relevant authorities.
  • Offering informal support to clients in daily living and independence skills.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience or education in corrections, criminal justice, social services, or related fields is preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Access to a personal vehicle for client transportation.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to maintain professional boundaries while interacting with clients and staff.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Flexibility and initiative in various situations.
  • Experience in enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated systems.
