Job Summary
ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Correctional Client Assistant to provide community-based services to individuals with a history of sexual assault, supporting their transition back to their home community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervised checks at clients' residences, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Transport clients to authorized activities and provide supervision as needed.
- Monitor clients' attitude, appearance, and behavior, documenting any concerns.
- Complete required log entries and apartment checklists for each monitored check.
- Ensure clients adhere to program rules, policies, and procedures.
- Document and report client violations to direct supervisors and relevant authorities.
- Provide informal guidance on daily living activities and independent living skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience and/or education in corrections, criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, security, social services, mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement.
- Access to a personal vehicle for transporting clients.
- Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with staff, clients, and other parties in a professional manner.
- Strong decision-making abilities and self-motivation.
- High-level organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated initiative and flexibility.
- Experience enforcing rules, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in the use of automated computer systems and Microsoft Office.
