Job Summary

ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Correctional Client Assistant to provide community-based services to individuals with a history of sexual assault, supporting their transition back to their home community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervised checks at clients' residences, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transport clients to authorized activities and provide supervision as needed.
  • Monitor clients' attitude, appearance, and behavior, documenting any concerns.
  • Complete required log entries and apartment checklists for each monitored check.
  • Ensure clients adhere to program rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Document and report client violations to direct supervisors and relevant authorities.
  • Provide informal guidance on daily living activities and independent living skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and/or education in corrections, criminal justice, human services, psychology, sociology, security, social services, mental health, behavioral health, or law enforcement.
  • Access to a personal vehicle for transporting clients.
  • Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and proof of insurance.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with staff, clients, and other parties in a professional manner.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and self-motivation.
  • High-level organizational, time management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrated initiative and flexibility.
  • Experience enforcing rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in the use of automated computer systems and Microsoft Office.
