Position Overview:
As the Activities Director, you will be responsible for designing and managing engaging life enrichment initiatives that cater to the diverse needs of our residents. Your role will encompass promoting both physical and emotional wellness, ensuring a fulfilling leisure lifestyle, and enhancing community involvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and assess a variety of activity programs for residents.
• Organize outings, special events, and foster community collaborations.
• Encourage resident participation in voting, council meetings, and volunteer opportunities.
• Oversee the department budget and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
• Certified therapeutic recreation specialist or licensed activity professional.
• Minimum of two years of experience in social or life enrichment programming within healthcare environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess a valid driver's license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and evaluation skills.
