About the Role

Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the successful management of our culinary department, ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence in every meal served.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and create menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Produce and execute catering events with precision and attention to detail
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs in conjunction with our marketing and culinary teams
Requirements
  • A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Catering experience a plus, with a strong understanding of food and catering trends
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with attention to detail
