Job Summary:

The Virginia Department of Human Resource Management is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to provide senior-level leadership and expertise consulting regarding the Joint Commission Accreditation process. This position will assist facilities with the development and implementation of organizational initiatives to support accreditation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting services to facilities on Joint Commission Accreditation process
  • Develop and implement organizational initiatives to support accreditation and regulatory compliance
  • Assist facilities in developing a robust regulatory program
  • Interpret regulatory standards and provide guidance on compliance
  • Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid administration policies and practices
  • Working knowledge of appropriate Federal and State laws, regulations, and policies
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements, including electronic health records
  • Experience working in healthcare
  • Experience with regulatory standards and assisting in regulatory surveys

Additional Considerations:

  • Working knowledge of PageUp
  • Power BI knowledge and experience
  • SHRM or PHR Certification(s)
