Job Title: Senior Director of Financial Reporting

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Financial Reporting to join our team at Empire State. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of financial records, as well as supervising the Accounts Payable team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

About the Role:
  • Oversight of financial record maintenance, reconciliation, and verification.
  • Supervision of accounts payable processing and related work.
  • Preparation of journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university.
  • 6+ years of direct public/private accounting experience with direct supervisory/ managing a team experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, GASB, and public auditing policies.
  • Ability to use independent judgment to make administrative and procedural decisions.
