We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Accounting Team at X Corp. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, with a focus on managing all reporting requirements associated with money transmission licenses.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up data for regulatory reporting, keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, and performing accounting close for Payments. You will also prepare periodic financial statements and submit reports to US state regulators.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience with financial reporting, preferably in a company regulated by MTL regulators. A CPA certification is preferred, as well as experience in Big 4, financial technology, and banks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all reporting requirements associated with money transmission licenses
  • Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement updates to reporting systems
  • Perform accounting close for Payments, including accruals, accounts reconciliations, and flux analysis

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $186,000-259,000 per year, depending on location and experience. The position is based in NYC or San Jose, and relocation assistance may be provided.
