We are seeking a highly skilled CICS Systems Administrator to join our team at The Dignify Solutions LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CICS MRO environments, including TOR and AOR configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set traces (Aux and GTF) to aid vendors in problem management and determination.
  • Produce and interpret CICS shutdown statistics to aid in problem determination and growth projections.
  • Understand and manipulate CICS dynamic storage areas to resolve short on storage situations or accommodate future growth of applications.
  • Create transaction and system dumps, and port them to vendors for analysis.
  • Design and implement RDO (resource definition online) to create resources needed on CICS, such as transactions, programs, files, and transient data queues.
  • Develop and support web services within CICS.
  • Install and maintain Broadcom ACF2 security requirements, as well as ACF2 security within CICS and on all CICS resources.
  • Install and maintain Tivoli/Omegamon products for monitoring CICS, z/OS, MQ, IIB, DB2, and the web portal.
  • Install and maintain Broadcom Intertest/Symdump for debugging CICS programs and formatting transaction dumps.
  • Install and use SDS - CAFC (CICS application file control) for controlling files, application lists, and group lists.
  • Assist operators with use and problem determination if applications are failing.
  • Aid in installation and day-to-day management of Trillium and Code1 software.
  • Be proficient in Compuware products, specifically File-aid, for manipulating files.
  • Create and modify Splunk reports (dashboards) to report on all CICS metrics, such as CPU consumption, storage consumption, transaction volume, response times, and wait times.
