About the role: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Connect4Talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and network administration, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to support requests and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide technical expertise in IT infrastructure and network administration for multiple clients.
  • Administer and maintain computer systems, network infrastructure, and other technical equipment.
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware and peripheral components.
  • Monitor client systems and provide strategic recommendations for optimal performance and uptime.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal operational disruption.
  • Communicate effectively with clients through scheduling work, providing status updates, and solution progress.
  • Maintain cybersecurity best practices and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Create and update documentation related to projects, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage internal and external IT projects on scope and budget.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of IT-related experience.
  • Proven ability to setup, configure, and troubleshoot computing hardware and infrastructure components.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration experience.
  • General networking and network administration experience.
  • Experience with Windows PowerShell or other scripting knowledge, multifactor authentication, virtual networking, and VoIP are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and passionate about technology.
  • Certification (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA) a plus.
  • Managed Services Provider experience a plus.
