About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Cosmoprof North America. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing email marketing strategies, analyzing campaign performance, and collaborating with sales teams to drive event registrations and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies for all audiences, including creating email marketing schedules and campaign canvases, segmentation, email creation, and deployment.
  • Analyze and report on email campaign performance metrics to identify effectiveness, ROI, and areas for improvement using Eloqua and Google Analytics.
  • Lead the development of sales marketing strategies that support sales goals and customer satisfaction, working closely with internal and external sales teams to align on support needs.
  • Compose print and digital sales materials utilizing compelling data points and messaging to display the value of exhibiting in our shows.
  • Own the exhibit customers' journey in the Cosmoprof North America Online Directory and Matchmaking platform, developing educational materials and tutorials to drive engagement and monetization in the platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on paid digital advertising strategy to support exhibit sales.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team members to produce event and evergreen brand marketing plans with a focus on email and exhibitor marketing.
  • Attend Cosmoprof North America shows as well as potential competitor shows and other industry events as needed.
Requirements
  • 5 years proven work experience in a marketing role.
  • Extensive experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Must have experience using Eloqua, including building campaigns for optimized automation.
  • Writing Skills – demonstrated ability to write targeted marketing copy for sales materials, presentations, and email campaigns.
  • Extremely detailed – you ensure 'no stone is unturned' before a campaign deploys.
  • A proactive self-starter with a desire to take projects and run with them.
  • Problem solving – you balance stakeholder needs while maintaining brand and business objectives. You can identify roadblocks, determine fixes, and work in a team environment to implement the solutions to get to the end goal.
  • Out of the box thinking – You are willing to challenge norms and come up with fresh ideas and approaches on reaching audiences and engaging our customers.
  • Data-Driven – ability to analyze data, create reports, and utilize insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and high energy.
  • Ability to travel 25%.
