Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diversion Intake Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This role requires a high level of organization, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a criminal court setting or human service field, preferably with individuals with mental health and substance use needs. A minimum of an Associate's Degree is required, while a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves facilitating outreach and intake operations for pre-court and post-court-based diversion programs at BJI. The successful candidate will assist with client outreach, maintain accurate documentation, and track attendance using the Center's internal case management tool and shared database. Additionally, they will prepare participant reports for the court, collaborate with community partners, and contribute to educational efforts aimed at promoting compliance and court monitoring.
