Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Improvement Specialist to join our team at Foot Soldiers LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and vibrancy of NYC's communities.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for sweeping blocks and curbs, managing trash and recycling, and providing supplemental sanitation services at events. You will also assist with snow removal management during winter months and ride e-bikes to reach your sites.

As a Community Improvement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors in dynamic environments and contribute to the overall mission of Foot Soldiers LLC to eliminate dirty streets. Our ideal candidate will be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and comfortably ride an e-bike, making frequent stops.
  • Perform routine maintenance like sweeping, trash removal, and occasional snow shoveling.
  • Demonstrate accountability as a member of the Foot Soldiers' team.
