Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Support the Mergers & Acquisitions practice by creating and executing targeted marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with partners, business development, marketing, and communications teams to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Draft and prepare written proposals, pitches, and other communications to clients and prospective clients
  • Drive content-driven campaign strategy to generate new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the global business development team on cross-selling initiatives
  • Support the practice's key client efforts and work with colleagues to identify, develop, and grow high-value services
  • Plan and oversee seminars, events, and other targeted marketing activities
  • Help practice group leaders manage relevant business development budgets
  • Collaborate with functional managers on PR, communications, and digital marketing initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, law, or business (advanced degree preferred)
  • At least 10 years of professional work experience in business development or marketing initiatives
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting
  • Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (required)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends, and literature related to legal and professional services marketing fields
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, including attention to detail and proofreading
  • Solid understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts, and practical applications
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management
  • Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of legal concepts
