Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven sales professional to develop sales opportunities and generate revenue in both residential and commercial fields. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work with a wide variety of people, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop sales opportunities within our current customer base by researching and identifying potential business.
- Prospect, with assistance and/or direction of Sales Manager, in a targeted approach by vertical markets.
- Provide sales support for customer inquiries.
- Field and assist with generation of new sales opportunities; track and distribute to appropriate Security consultant.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree and/or 2 years customer service or sales experience, or equivalent combination is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
- Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people on all levels.
- Ability to set and attain goals.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Part of the workday is spent in a comfortable office environment, while some part of the workday is spent outdoors traveling to and from customer locations.
