Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) is in search of a proactive Senior Systems Engineering Leader to guide a team of engineers specializing in Reliability, Maintainability & Systems Health (RM&SH) as they undertake technical projects on AD initiatives. This role is integral to the Systems Engineering and Specialty Engineering division within BDS Air Dominance SEIT Capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee engineering and technical operations in the domain of RM&SH, including On Board Health Management and Carrier Suitability.
  • Develop and implement effective analytical tools and processes to support engineering teams and the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and spearhead process enhancements.
  • Utilize Engineering Best Practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering data.
  • Conduct and present trade studies and supporting documentation on various technical and administrative topics.
  • Engage regularly with Program Management, Chief Engineers, Program Integration Offices, Program Teams, and Customers.
  • Fulfill Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities.
  • Monitor relevant metrics to ensure alignment with performance objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and allocate personnel to meet project and operational goals.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the designated location.

Security Clearance:

This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is mandatory.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Master's degree in any engineering discipline; MBA highly preferred.
