With a commitment to innovation and growth, our client is poised for significant expansion, targeting a revenue increase of at least 20%.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of process enhancements and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for both existing and forthcoming manufacturing techniques.
- Contribute as a senior participant in New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings, offering expertise in tooling, manufacturing, and procedural insights.
- Champion Advanced Manufacturing Engineering initiatives to elevate operational efficiency.
- Oversee Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control department to facilitate the transition of parts to full production through effective run-off of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) components.
- Configure and troubleshoot CNC machine part programs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Address and resolve issues related to CNC operations and assembly manufacturing as required.
- Identify Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements for specialized dimensions to enhance the manufacturing workflow.
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as it pertains to manufacturing.
- In-depth technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and grinding.
- Proven track record in developing efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes for new product lines.
- Strong understanding of the selection, procurement, and design of custom tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
- Eligibility for a 10% annual bonus based on individual performance and company success.
- 401(k) plan with a 3% company match.
