Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to take on a pivotal role within our organization. This position entails the development of PLC, Advanced Motion, and HMI programs from the ground up, specifically for a variety of Allen Bradley Controllers. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating electrical schematics, integrating vision systems, and overseeing the panel assembly process.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement PLC, Advanced Motion, and HMI programs for diverse Allen Bradley Controllers
  • Create detailed electrical schematics
  • Integrate and develop vision systems
  • Oversee the panel assembly process
  • Meticulously review customer specifications
  • Formulate project plans and timelines across various departments
  • Engage with clients to discuss project plans, share integration details, and develop installation strategies
  • Produce Operator Manuals, User Manuals, One Point Lessons, and other necessary project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with UL standards in electrical designs
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in electrical engineering design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cyclic Rotary Motion
  • Familiarity with Ethernet/IP networks in an automation context
  • Background in the Packaging Industry
