Employment Type: Contractual Position

Compensation: $22-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and enhance a Continuous Improvement initiative within the Electrogrip production environment.
  • Conduct research and evaluate design concepts, employing methodologies such as lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to assess viability and foster innovation, corrective measures, and enhancements.
  • Create a proactive, strategic plan that anticipates future requirements in production capacity, quality assurance, and manufacturing advancements.
  • As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will establish and provide product manufacturing specifications, production techniques, workflow processes, and operational guidelines within our system to assist the manufacturing team in delivering the final product.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Infor M3, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design and reporting tools to generate precise documentation, manage master data, construct manufacturing frameworks, and devise production methodologies.
  • Establish and uphold a thorough documentation framework for our manufacturing operations, encompassing flow diagrams, capacity and utilization assessments, time and motion evaluations, standard operating procedures, process documentation, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in assessing and troubleshooting manufacturing systems and equipment.
  • Familiarity with CAD, CAM, ERP, data analysis software, and related tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and managerial capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High degree of technical proficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams as necessary.
