- Perform financial assessments and manage projects to ensure profitability and compliance with gross margin objectives.
- Work closely with sales teams during the initial concept and discovery stages, aiding in the creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to develop comprehensive project timelines and documentation.
- Employ Solidworks for design visualization, while not directly involved in the design tasks.
- Interact with clients during site visits, showcasing the company’s expertise and dedication to quality.
- Assist in crafting automation solutions across various sectors, including automotive, consumer goods, durable products, and medical technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in automation engineering and leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in managing and executing profitable projects, with a solid understanding of project profitability metrics.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for project scheduling and documentation.
- Willingness to travel domestically 10-20% for client site engagements.
