Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response Team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, efficient care to our patients.

About the Role

The Rapid Response Team Registered Nurse will respond to all patient care emergencies, including Code Blues, Heart Alerts, Stroke Alerts, and Sepsis alerts. You will perform surveillance by identifying patients at risk for complications or becoming seriously ill, and will work closely with bedside nurses to provide consultation and support.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to patient care emergencies, including Code Blues, Heart Alerts, Stroke Alerts, and Sepsis alerts
  • Perform surveillance to identify patients at risk for complications or becoming seriously ill
  • Work closely with bedside nurses to provide consultation and support
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on patient care and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program of nursing: diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
  • 3-5 years of recent experience in an ICU or an ER
