Position Summary: Emergency nurses play a crucial role in collaborating with physicians and radiologic technologists to enhance and restore patients' health. This involves assessing, intervening, and stabilizing a diverse range of trauma and medical conditions across all age groups. The emergency nurse is essential in offering both physical and emotional support to patients, visitors, and fellow team members. Given the variety of urgent health issues that may arise, it is vital for the emergency nurse to possess comprehensive knowledge of both general and specific health concerns. Required licenses must be obtained.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Type: PRN

Compensation: $48.00/Hour DOE

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency care, demonstrating confidence, empathy, and enthusiasm in all situations. They will be resourceful, proactive, and reliable, providing care that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Required: Associate degree or higher in nursing.
  • Required: Completion of necessary education to obtain state licensure as a registered nurse.

Experience:

Computer Skills:

  • Required: Basic computer proficiency.

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Required: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Required: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
