Position Overview:
As a Customer Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering positive relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming communications from clients, including phone calls and emails, related to inquiries, order modifications, and general concerns.
- Engage with customers to discuss production and delivery challenges, offering solutions and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to gather necessary documentation for accurate proposals.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy in pricing and delivery timelines, ensuring prompt acknowledgment to clients.
- Communicate vendor price adjustments to clients and update assembly pricing as necessary.
- Oversee the quotation process from initiation to completion, ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented.
- Work closely with various departments to support company initiatives and maintain effective communication regarding order statuses and any potential delays.
- Track and process engineering change notices (ECNs) and maintain organized records of all documentation.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of job packets, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
- Participate in New Production Introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with internal systems.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a friendly approach as the first point of contact for clients.
- Ability to adhere to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Enjoyment of a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
