RN Clinical Director

The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies for the clinical department to ensure excellent service and growth.
- Assume responsibility for budgeting and resource allocation.
- Plan and oversee all patient care and administrative operations and programs.
- Recruit and manage a team of qualified personnel.
- Assign cases and create schedules for all employees.
- Coordinate and supervise staff, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for continuous development.
- Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary.
- Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current licensure in the state.
- Professional certification preferred (AORN).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- CPR certification required, advanced life support certification required.
- Two years of operating room/critical care experience.
- Two years of leadership experience in the outpatient surgery area.
- Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
- Proven experience as a clinical director or other managerial position.
- Infection control, quality, and/or process improvement experience.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing, and performance evaluation procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of ASC standards and regulations for the clinical field.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to resolve issues and conflicts.
