- Patient Care: Personally provide dental services and ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control protocols.
- Organizational Support: Regularly meet with key stakeholders, including the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Dental Operations.
- Team Building: Ensure the organization is staffed with a full complement of clinical staff, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Performance Management: Coach, direct, and assess the performance of all staff members, promoting growth and development.
- Compliance: Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Patient Examination: Diagnose and treat dental/oral conditions and refer patients for specialty consultation when necessary.
- Record Management: Accurately document patient interactions and treatment plans in dental records.
- Outreach: Educate the community on oral health and disease prevention through outreach opportunities.
- Collaboration: Participate in routine meetings with peers and other clinic staff.
- License: Must hold a license to practice dentistry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of clinical dentistry experience. An advanced degree in business, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading dental care teams and establishing strong business relationships.
- Expertise: Substantial knowledge of dental sciences and experience managing dental or oral health programs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with JCAHO, CMS, OSHA, CDC, ADA standards, and federal regulations governing dental care.
- Team Development: Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
