Construction Cost Control Specialist

**Job Summary**
Doota Industrial America LLC, a leading provider in the telecommunications infrastructure industry, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Cost Control Specialist to oversee all construction-related activities and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
About the Role
- Develop and manage detailed budgets for projects, ensuring all financial resources are allocated efficiently.
- Utilize periodic checkpoints to analyze project expenses, ensuring team members adhere to the budget and identifying any necessary adjustments.
- Implement change control systems to manage changes arising from project issues or delays, adjusting the budget accordingly to account for increased labor and material costs.
- Oversee all project modifications to ensure necessary budget adjustments are made and document all changes to confirm their relevance and necessity.
- Ensure project expenses are minimized by meeting deadlines and maintaining efficient workflows.
- Calculate earned value by multiplying the percentage of work completed by the budget at project completion, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the total cost of all supplies and equipment required for projects, including pre-project orders, in-progress acquisitions, and final procurement.
- Measure the total expenses from project initiation to completion, including labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Identify and analyze any discrepancies between actual project costs and the established budget.
- Assess project profitability by comparing investment costs with financial returns.
- Demonstrate strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with compensation data is a plus.
- Exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities to manage and guide project teams effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management cost control.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong foundation in financial principles and business management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Fluent in Korean is a plus but not required.
